8th Wakefield Scouts Hall

The new 8th Wakefield Scouts £210,000 HQ building, designed by Architecture 1b, replaces the old 1950s Nissen hut, which had a leaky roof, a tiny kitchen and cold, damp toilets.

The two-storey building has been created using carbon-reducing materials. It contains a meeting hall with a kitchen, toilets and baby-changing facilities, a storage space and an office/meeting room.
